Keskiviikkona tulee 62. vuorokausi, eli loppuvaiheessa mennään. Tikki on tähän mennessä ollut tosi rauhallinen ja vain nukkuu/lepäilee. Syömään on ollut huono jo jonkin aikaa. Tiistainakin söi vasta illalla, eli aina ei ruoka uppoa kun sitä tarjoillaan. Lämpöjä olen seuraillut ahkeraan ja ne sahaa tällä hetkellä edestakaisin. Tässä jo odottelee, että jotain alkaisi tapahtumaan...

On wednesday its the 62. day.. We are going towards the end. Tikki has been very calm and relaxed, she just rests/sleeps. She hasn't been eating well for many days now. On tuesday she only ate in the evening, she doesn' eat every time I try to give her food. I've kept a close eye on the temperatures and it's going up and down, up and down. I'm just waiting for something to happen...

Tässä kuva pariskunnasta :) Tikin habitus on aika lailla erilainen tällä hetkellä ;) Onneksi oli tuolloin kuitenkin hoikassa ja hehkeässä kunnossa. Muuten olisi varmaan ollut Wilmerin hurmaaminen vähän vaikeampaa ;)

56. vrk / 56. day
Tänään tuli täyteen 56 vuorokautta ekasta astutuksesta. Tikki on jo aika valtava, pitää ottaa uusi kuva kun sää sen sallii. Tänään meni auringonpaiste ihan ohi. Tikki tuntee olonsa kyllä selvästi tukalaksi. Aina asennon vaihdon jälkeen kestää hetki ennen kuin ähkintä looppuu ja olo on taas hyvä. Eipä se paljon muuta teekään enää kuin nukkuu ja lepäilee :) Lisäksi Tikki läähättää kovin, vaikka en usko sillä hirveän kuuma olevan.
Eilen ostin kuumemittarin niin samalla alkoi lämpöjen mittaus :) Tikki ei syö enää yhtä hyvin ja ahneesti kuin aiemmin. Eilen jätti ekaa kertaa osan ruuasta syömättä ja tänään on nirsoillut vielä enemmän. Päädyin tänään ruokkimaan mammakoiraa ihan kädestä. Kuivia nappuloita sain mitallisen (n. 1,5 dl) menemään ja myöhemmin söi iltaruokana kunnon sörsselin. Täytyy huomenna käydä kaupassa sillä silmällä ostoksilla, jos löytyisi jotain sopivaa herkkua millä menisi ruoka alas :) Vielä on turhan aikaista alkaa paastoamaan, kun Tikkikään ei kovin lihava ole. Tosin en yhtään ihmettele ettei ruoka maistu niin hyvin. Masu kun on niin iso, että varmasti painaa vatsalaukkua :)

Today is the 56. day from the first mating. Tikki is quite huge already. I have to take a new photo of her. Tikki has troubles on finding a good position when lying down. And she doesn't do anything else anymore, just sleeping and resting.
Yesterday I bought a thermometer and at the sametime I started to measure her temperature :) Tikki isn't eating so well anymore. Yesterday was the first time she left some of the food to the bowl and today she has been quite picky. I had to give her some food from my hand to get her eat atleast little food. Later in the evening she ate a true gourmet meal ;) It's too early for her to stop eating so I have to do my best to get her to eat. Especially when she isn't that fat. But I'm not wondering the fact that she wont eat that well anymore. Her tummy is so big that it has to be uncomfortable :)

Liikkeitä / Movements
Eilen illalla tunnustelin Tiksun isoa masua ja kahteen otteeseen tunsin pienen potkun! Vitsit, että oli mahtava fiilis :))) Ja jotenkin todella epätodellinen tunne. Melkein vaistomaisesti veti käden pois :D Tietääpähän miten tulee vietettyä tulevat illat ;)
Pikkuhiljaa alkaa olla kaikki tarvittavat asiat hankittuna ensi viikkoa ajatellen. Tässä jo ihan odottelee malttamattomana, että näkee pikkuiset vauvakoirat. Ja eiköhän se jännityskin sieltä tule ;)

Yesterday I was trying to feel the puppies in Tikkis big tummy. And two times I felt a little kick! It was so amazing feeling and almost a bit surreal. I almost took my hand away by instinct. Now I know what to do in the evenings ;)
I'm starting to have everything gathered for next week. I'm waiting anxious to see the little puppies. I guess the nervousness will appear at some time ;)

2 viikkoa jäljellä / 2 weeks to go
Eilen torstaina tuli täyteen 7 viikko, eli 2 viikkoa aikaa laskettuun aikaan. Tikki on kyllä iso. Tosin niin oli kuulemma Noita-äippäkin, kun odotti tyttöjä. Joten mielenkiinnolla odotamme mitä tuleman pitää :) Tässä pari kuvaa; kuvat on otettu 36 vrk ja 50 vrk kohdalla. Eroa on nähtävissä :)

Yesterday was full 7 weeks of pregnancy so it's 2 weeks to go. Tikki is big. But so was her mom, Noita when she was waiting for the three girls. So we just have to wait what the future brings :) Here's a few photos; they were taken on the 36. and on the 50. day. You defenately can see the difference :)

Nälkäinen otus / Hungry beast
Punkerolla on ihan jatkuvasti kova nälkä. Syö aikamoisia annoksia ruokaa normaaliin verrattuna. Putsaa kuppinsa hyvin hyvin tarkkaan ja on mukamas senkin jälkeen vielä nälkäinen. Eilen illalla tuli suoraan omalta kupilta kerjäämään mun leipää. Vaikka veikkaan, että oma kupu oli sillä jo hyvinkin täynnä ;) Ja Tikkihän normaalisti aika hyvin säätelee omaa syömistään ja jättää helpostikin ruokia syömättä, nyt ei sellaisesta merkkiäkään ;)
Kauhean vaikea katsoa, että toinen saa tarpeeksi ruokaa. Varsinkin, kun mun silmiin se ruokamäärä on jo nyt ihan järjetön :D Kylkiluu-tuntumalla mennään. Oli meinaan päässyt muutama päivä takaperin inan verran laihtumaan, kun kylkiluut tuntui selkeämmin mitä ennen. Eli ei auta kuin ruokamäärää lisätä :) Pelottaa vaan ajatus siitä miten paljon ipanat kasvavat, kun niillä kerran tilaa siellä on. Ellei sitten ultra näyttänyt yhtä luotettavasti tuloksen kuin miehen työkaverin koiralla (näkynyt 2-3, syntynyt 12...) ;)
Masu kasvaa pikkuhiljaa. Sitä onkin mukava silitellä ja rapsutella. Tikki tosin ei oikein sitä ymmärrä ja arvosta :) Tänään on matokuurin viimeinen päivä, joten sekin on hoidettu. Eilen metsälenkillä Tikki tuntui ottavan jo rauhallisemmin. Tiedä sitten onko mahan mukanaan tuomaa rauhoittumista vai tajusiko, ettei flexissä pahemmin kannata spurttailla. Jos en ihan väärässä ole niin ei tuo tyttönen enää niin ketterästi liiku ;)
Niin ja tänään on laskettuun aikaan aikaa tasan 3 viikkoa. Hui miten aika juoksee nopeaan.

'Fatty' is hungry all the time. She already eats guite big portions and she thinks she's hungry even after that. Yesterday she came to beg my bread right after eating herself. Although I think she was quite full already ;) Normally Tikki isn't that good eater...
It's so hard to tell if she gets enough food. For me the amount she is eating now seems so huge. Well I just have to keep an eye on her weight and make sure she's not too fat or thin. A few days ago I noticed that she had lost a bit of her weight bevause I could feel her ribs too clearly. I just have to give her more food even though it seems huge already :) Im scared that the babies grow too much. Atleast they have enough room for themselves. I hope that the ultrasound gave the right result and not like with my husbands co-worker dog (2-3 shown and 12 was born...)
Tikkis tummy is growing a bit by bit. And it's nice to scratch and stroke her tummy. Tikki don't understand and appreciate that at all :D Yesterday when we were in the forest Tikki seemee to be taking it easier. But I don't know if it was the growing tummy or the long leash she was in... But it seems that she is not moving so agile than she uses to :)
